Their purpose is to teach people wisdom and discipline, to help them understand the insights of the wise. Their purpose is to teach people to live disciplined and successful lives, to help them do what is right, just, and fair. These proverbs will give insight to the simple, knowledge and discernment to the young. (NLT)

Oh! How we need wisdom today!

We have tons and tons of information stored in every imaginable way. In general, people are more highly educated than every before. But, in spite of the proliferation of information and our ever-increasing levels knowledge, we are wrestling to grasp some of the simplest things in life. We are struggling to interact with one another appropriately.
