Recently, my family enjoyed a day at the beach. As evening was drawing near, I took this picture with my cell phone camera. Join with me in marveling at God’s glory as we gaze on a beautiful sunset behind Pier 60 at Clearwater Beach.

Thoughtful writings that have recently caught my eye are:

The Death of Blogs by Ted Olsen

Answering the Atheists by Stan Guthrie

Puncturing Atheism by David Aikman

What God Has Joined by David Instone-Brewer

Redeeming the Remarried by Ron L. Deal

A word of encouragement:

God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.

Glory to God in the church!
Glory to God in the Messiah, in Jesus!
Glory down all the generations!
Glory through all millennia! Oh, yes!
Ephesians 3:20-21, The Message

A tug on the heart strings:

Spent many a time on a Florida West Coast beach when Grandparents lived in St. Pete.

[One of my goals for this winter is: having breakfast on the east coast watching the sunrise and having dinner on the west coast watching the sunset. Know anyone I can have breakfast with on the eastern side?]

Beautiful sunset….not going to be jealous…not going to be jealous…

[I’ve thought the same thing a time or two about the beautiful scenes outside your back door. God bless!]
