Mid-Ohio Valley Work Camp – Safe Return

Although this is coming a bit late, I’d like to report that our team safely returned from West Virginia and the beautiful Appalachian Mountains. Traffic around Baltimore, due to road construction and holiday beach traffic, slowed us down significantly. Thus, we arrived about three hours later than originally anticipated. We give thanks to God who blessed us with safety in travel and during our time of labor at the Mid-Ohio Valley Work Camp.

While members of our youth group were involved in work on three different sites in the Parkersburg area, I only have pictures of the site where I worked. You can a few photographs of our group, along with pictures taken at my site by clicking HERE.

Here’s a picture of the team from the Cedars church, minus Rebecca and Leann, who traveled in a separate vehicle:

Your kids look far more awake than our kids. Most of the pics I took in our bus were of sleeping kids. Glad you made it home safe and it was good to meet you in person.

So THAT’s what the kids look like after a week of painting houses in West Virginia!

Looks like a GREAT bunch of kids. Just the kind I love spending time with.
