Here I Sit

panera-logo.gifAs I compose these lines, I’m more than 400 miles away from home, sitting in one of my favorite places—Panera Bread. It amazes me how familiar surroundings make a person feel like he is at a home-away-from-home. Any time you can find a steaming hot bowl of French Onion soup to go with your Tuscan Chicken sandwich, you’ve gotta’ be amongst friends, right?

Thanks to the marvel of the “Post Timestamp” feature, I’ve been posting in absentia for the past couple of days. It has been a couple of days since I had Internet access. So, getting the chance to pop in here at the Spiritual Oasis has brought me an unexpected blessing. I cannot tell you how my heart has been lifted by your kind words of encouragement. Thank you so very much!

By the time you read these words, I’ll be homeward bound. Thanks for cheering me in the journey!

Blessings,

-bill

I always send cheers to you on your journey through life, Bill, whether you’re at home or on the road. Both!

So where IS the Panera Bread where you are (were), anyway? Have you had a mini-vacation or work? Just wondering . . ..

  8. Bill,

Panera Bread is also one of our favorite places!!! In fact, I used to meet a brother there every Frinday morning for a “He-brews” Bible study. The mushroom sandwich/ clam chowder soup combo is my fav!

Isn’t is awesome how great minds think alike (wink, wink)! 😉
